Personal stories on the new stimulation website are always considered. If you would like to share your personal story to national and international guests, please include the following:
The editors have decided not to use a posting system with connecting threads on this website. After reviewing other systems we have found that this type of system often becomes too complicated for people to navigate or tolerate. Visitors have the option to provide e-mail if they would like to connect with other people. It is important that documents are written in clear, concise language for all to benefit. The editors are happy to rewrite or edit personal stories. Please understand that what is included is always at the discretion of the editors. The web page is updated once or twice per month. A waiting time may apply for stories to appear. Personal stories that contain doctor contact or other contact information may be transferred to other pages within the website. In addition, reprogramming or other follow-up stimulation stories are needed for both patients and medical personnel to understand the long-term use of stimulation, side effects and other issues that may help improve stimulation methods. It is best if patients contact the editors every time they experience reprogramming. Contributors can remain anonymous on the website. Longer papers are considered. The goal of the editors is to make the website as user friendly as possible for all people. Thank you for sharing your personal story!
